Kate Spade in London

imageI love the world of Kate Spade - their brand promise is to lead an interesting life, to inspire colorful living. They recently celebrated the Chelsea Flower show with a dinner in South Kensington and the flowers were so delightful that you had to look twice before you realized the arrangement was made with tea cups and saucers. Kate Spade is whimsical with a hint of quirkiness - I have a handbag in the shape of a watering can and oddly enough it's practical: I can actually fit my mobile, oyster card, lipstick, a camera and keys plus a few more bits in it, so it's not only really cute but functional. Kate Spade is classic but with a twist and to make life easier so you're not always trying to find a plug to charge up your mobile, in September Kate Spade's new handbags will come with an iphone charger built into the bags that should last up to two days! The Kate Spade's Spring 2015 campaign is truly of the moment and on par with global luxury brands; Céline's campaign features model Joan Didion, age 80, for Spring 15, Saint Laurent debuted an ad with Joni Mitchell, age 71 and then there are the three anonymous ladies of Dolce & Gabbana’s matador campaign! The Kate Spade spring 2015 campaign is about personal style, featuring the quirky, colourful interior designer Iris Apfel, 93 cozying up with all American Victoria's Secret model Karlie Kloss, 22. I'm not sure who the other female model is but I love her shaved head and top knot - she just looks cool (and intelligent because she's reading a newspaper) plus the man in the background on the bike with a balloon gives the whole image an otherworldly feeling, in an everyday situation.Kate Spade New York has grown from $126 million to $750 million in net sales in just five years and analysts expect Kate Spade’s profit per share to more than double this year to 54 cents on revenue of $1.25 billion, and climb 67% to 90 cents in the fiscal year ending January 2017. This year they launched their UK e-commerce site and have over 190 standalone shops and are available in over 400 shops worldwide.CR_h_spade-spring-2015-campaign07karlie-kloss-kate-spade-spring-2015-campaign05imageimageimage
