I met the designers from Mash Up and wanted to see more of their work. They pointed me in the direction of the concept store SUPERSPACE. In Singapore cool shops can actually be found in malls, it’s the easiest way to shop and it might be the only way to shop here as it’s too hotContinue reading

After spending some time in Jakarta I’ve become more obsessed with textiles, so I was delighted to see Edward Crutchley’s new menswear collection at Fashion East’s Menswear Installations at London Collections: Men. You’re immediately drawn to the hand dyed Indonesian ikats fabrics and the kyo yuzen  printing (it’s screen printed onto cloth, not toContinue reading

On the 7th of January 2014, Superdry had an epic show at The Old Sorting as part of London Collection: Men AW14. As soon as you walked into the venue you were offered endless rum mojitos and lychee and blackberry martinis – it felt like a club. Suddenly there was this huge rumbling sound near theContinue reading

I have mixed feelings about tie-dye. Sometime I love it and sometimes I can’t stand it. It really depends on how it’s done and the colour. I’m loving this sweatshirt at Blitz London –  I like the bright colour and that the tie-dye isn’t too uniformly done.

If you’ve been inspired by glam rock lately with the David Bowie exibition at the V&A, you’ll love Charles of London. This week they have a pop up shop in East London at 54 Rivington Street and I just happened to pass by while I was prepping for a shoot. Designers Mark Charles and SusanContinue reading

I met Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida at the London Showroom in Paris and was quite exciting to see their work. It’s young, fresh and has loads of attiude. Many of the pieces are deconstructed and oversized – it’s really dress-up streetwear. I love the top (in the picture above) and the combinations of fabrics.Continue reading

Love Martine Rose’s fashion film – most fashion films are so boring and a bit pretentious but this film is just so cool. Martine presented her SS13 collection as part of London Collections: Men in June 2012. I love how she plays with proportion and size – you can easily imagine someone wearing these pieces.Continue reading

E-map (owner of WGSN) gives out many fashion awards and the Global Fashion Awards has become their most popular event. The short list was announced at a party atContinue reading

If you’re ever wondering who made the infamous Bjork swan dress it was Marjan Pejoski! You might be quite excited to know that he’s even made one for Blythe! Marjan Pejoski graduated from St Martins and has had his own label since 2000. In 2008 Marjan Pejoski and Sasko Besovski aka Sasha B opened KokonContinue reading

This season I was quite busy styling shows and although I didn’t have the chance to see lots of shows, which I love doing, I was lucky enough to see Emma Bell‘s show. It opened with a violinist playing ‘How much is that doggy in the window‘ and performance artist Scottie wearing heels and aContinue reading
