I’ve always loved the Easter Egg hunt. As a child you’re almost guaranteed to find a certain number of yummy chocolate eggs and now Jimmy Choo is having a trainer hunt!
They’ll be hidden in all sorts of fashionable places from the Saatchi Gallery to Shoreditch House – you’ll be given an update in real time on the trainers whereabouts but to win you need to be in the right place at the right time. The winner is the first person to identify the trainers in a location that Jimmy Choo has announced on one of its sites. Then the winner has to find the Jimmy Choo representative holding the trainers and say "I’ve been following you" (which might be a bit weird but worth it for a free pair of shoes!)
There’s no start date for the Jimmy Choo Trainer Hunt but it’s anytime soon, so you just have to keep checking their sites for updates!

Backstage isn’t as crazy as people always think it is. Sometimes it’s quite calm and fun, and Prophetik was like this so I found styling their show to be a pleasure. The whole week was like this. The team had all come from Franklin, Tennessee at the beginning of the week. We had casting, fittings, rehearsal and even a sound check for the band.
This was Prophetik’s first London Fashion Week show. Even though they’d done lots of shows before, every show is new and exciting and this was no exception. We were opening Vauxhall Fashion Scout, and so naturally we had a band, a horse and a violinist!

Lot of steaming to been done with my lovely assistants and tons of make up from Benefit!

We had 16 models for the show, 6 boys and 10 girls!

Lots of cool people including Phil Collen of Man Raze (second from the left), designer Jeff Garner (in the middle) and Jimmy Choo.

After the show backstage was buzzing with Hilary Alexander interviewing Jeff and his team.

What girl could resist a prize of 7 pairs of shoes and 2 handbags from Jimmy Choo?
Jimmy Choo has launched a photo competition to support Project PEP, a capsule collection that helps to fund the Simelela Rape Clinic in South Africa. Jimmy Choo will donate 25% of the net sales from Project PEP to the Elton John AIDS Foundation. With this funding, the Elton John AIDS Foundation can directly support the pioneering Simelela Rape Centre in Cape Town that was set up in 2005, with the mission to administer victims of abuse with the vital HIV preventative PEP medication (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) and provide the infrastructure for medical, counselling and legal support.
All you need to do is upload a photo inspired by the theme ‘You, Your Shoes and 72′. Your photos will also have the opportunity to be exhibited at the Project PEP launch event at Selfridges on 29 October. Check out some of the entries!
