Looking for that perfect gift? How to avoid frostbite and not mess up your hair? Uggs has some great accessories. I’ve never been a massive Uggs fan but I’ve been warming up to them. I hate being cold and I don’t like to look ugly and anyone would look super cute in these earmuffs!!

£58 at Shudoo and you can still make a Christmas delivery if you order before noon on Dec 22nd!
I recently interviewed Leon from Shudoo, and here’s what he had to say about the company, which has is one of those rare internet success stories of a solid company that’s been around for years!
Can you tell me a bit more about the company?
Shudoo launched as Ugs & Kisses in 2004 by former Saracens rugby player Robbie Russell and his wife Claire. The company sold UGG boots, but has branched out into other boot brands (Blowfish, Bumper, Snowjoggers) and also shoes (Terry de Havilland, Roberto Botella and Steve Madden).
A new website will launch after the January sales.
What makes the company special?
By Spring 2009 we will have much more brands for both men and women. We’ve launched a blog SHUNEWS (http://shunews.shudoo.co.uk) which offers celebrity style news.
We offer special discounts and competitions to our newsletter subscribers.
How many people work there?
There are seven people at Shudoo. Customer service, management, marketing, content and operations.
Why shop there?
Free delivery (something so simple which is actually a rarity in online fashion), wide range, telephone customer service.
Has it been busier this season?
Yes. The UGG Classic Cardy has been the surprise success of the year.

Yes, I know that already sounds ironic. Customer service is something that I don’t expect any more. I’m not saying that customer service was great in Canada – in one department store you could never find a sales person – but that store went under…There are some shops in London that are quite good, my local grocery shop is one of them. Also there are lots of boutique shops that are amazing. They are noteworthy because of the service. I think great customer service just makes good business sense.

I don’t usually gripe but I just don’t understand why the escalator is out of service for several months at my tube station. The up escalator is working but my assistant and I are often carrying heavy cases & all sorts of things down the stairs. I also think about when I’m old, will I be able to walk down all those stairs? I just keep thinking would it take 6 months to fix an escalator in Toronto?

Oliver Sweeney has been designing shoes for his own label for almost 20 years. Everything is designed in England and hand made in Italy. There are more than 120 stores stocking Oliver Sweeney shoes and accessories countrywide. I often go to the shop on Bond Street and the staff are very helpful.

It’s important to me that if you go to a shop you’re treated well and that the staff are helpful and sincere (hey, I’m Canadian so even if I live in the UK I expect good customer service). A while back there was one designer that I liked but I went into their shop and the staff was so snobby I didn’t want to use their clothes anymore.

Oliver Sweeney shoes are beautifully designed, and fashion forward without being too over the top – classic with a twist. They also come with a matching belt!

You’ll notice that this season many of Oliver’s shoes are very chic. I’m loving the white patent, which also comes in black and a petrol blue.
