Contributor Profile: Elana Soloman – Fashion Journalism Student

Elana Solomon - Stylist Stuff contributorElana Solomon arrived in London in 2003 to study fashion and art history. She later attended Sotheby’s Institute of Art, where she was granted a Post Graduate Degree in Art and Business. During the last 2 years her focus shifted from Art History to Fashion, including assisting fashion stylist Rebekah Roy, working as a shop assistant and doing freelance work as a personal shopper. She’s currently a student at London College of Fashion, completing an MA in Fashion Journalism.

Her love of fashion started with her family:

"Perhaps my most significant fashion influence was my grandmother, who was recognized for her elegance and style. It is not surprising that with a role model such as this, my mother raised me to appreciate the importance of appearance and good taste. I have had the opportunity to travel the world from Europe, the Middle East and the Americas; during my travels I have viewed the greatest fashion of the world.  These experiences have lead to my passion for international fashion and art."
