‘A Big Night Out with Jamie’ is Jamie Oliver’s fundraising event for restaurant Fifteen’s Apprentice Programme for young people. Kate Nash perfomed at the event and they raised about £100,000!

It’s summertime in London and it’s October so you know you just have to dig out that summer dress that you just put away and go out and enjoy the day. We spent the afternoon in Kensington Palace Park and walked through Hyde Park making our way to Soho Joe’s for a burger & fries and to read the Sunday magazines!
I was so looking forward to this meal – I’ve been going to Soho Joe’s since it first opened in Soho and it’s quite good! My job is all about detail so I really notice the small things. Today a glass was chipped and the shot glass they serve ketchup in (good idea) was split all the way down the side, twice! It’s just a bit disappointing that details like this go unnoticed and you have to wonder is there glass in my food? To top it all off (no pun intended) to my surprise they wanted to charge £2 for extra slices of pickle for the burger!
Fortunately it was so sunny nothing could spoil my day!

Sometimes it’s good to take time off and take a break even if it’s only for a few hours. The last two weeks have been quite busy – I’ve styled seven shoots. So it’s good to take the morning off to read Grazia and NME while enjoying pancakes and rocking away to 80’s music at The Breakfast Club. When I was little my dad would make pancakes and I’d eat them as quickly as he’d make them. My favourite pancakes are lemon ricotta!

It’s good to go out with the girlfriends and just enjoy the simple pleasures in life – like food! I had a wonderful experinece dining at Bistro Fifteen. It’s very pretty without being overly girly. There’s lots of fashion art work on the walls so I felt right at home. It wasn’t just that the food was amazing – the service was perfect – it truly added to the evening’s experience.and the white coconut truffles were delicious!
