Kate Nash has been quite busy this year working on a variety of projects, including her Rock ‘n’ Roll for Girls After School Music Club! Kate has been visiting schools around the country encouraging young girls to write their own music and to play instruments.
…and this week I’m going to be interviewing Kate for The Industry (a members club with some of the top people in the fashion industry). The interview will be filmed by Pulse Films so I’ll post a link to the video once it’s up!

We just launched Issue 4 for Graduate Fashion Week. The cover was shot by Elizabeth Hoff, and was styled by me (I’m the Fashion Editor). Yasmin was great to work with, and she loves wearing new designers so she was perfect for Phoenix magazine because our main focus is new designers. The magazine is out now, and the next issue will be available during next London Fashion Week.

Listening to Lady Gaga’s Goverment Hooker while on the treadmill got me thinking about Diamanda Galás . Diamanda Galás is a very amazing, very influential singer with a distinctive operatic voice and she has a range of three and a half octaves. It can be very unreal listening to her. She was born in 1955, she’s Greek but has lived in New York since the 70’s. There really is no one else like her.
