Now that London Fashion Week is all over I can catch up on some posts and one of my favourite experiences was a rickshaw ride! It’s not too difficult to get around at London Fashion Week as most shows are quite central but St Martin’s Lane Hotel was offering rickshaw rides from the hotel to Somerset House so I thought I’d go for the ride. I’d never been on a rickshaw before and they always look so fun when I see them passing by, and it was fun but I felt quite vulnerable and had fears of falling off but it was worth it!

I can’t believe the rain in London. Sometimes it feels like you’re on a movie set and you’re just waiting for a bus or a big 4×4 to come by and splash you (A Sex in the City moment.) This mini lake was right in front of TopShop and they had just finished the road works but they forgot a drain!

Every week I’m visiting designers or PRs to pick up items for my shoots. Today I went to visit Becc at Bloody Gray PR. Every PR is unique. Becc represents quite a few new designers – which is perfect for Phoenix magazine!

Becc is super friendly and very professional – we even had a sneaky peak at some of the new collections but what is really charming and fun at Bloody Gray is that there is always cake & biscuits!

I loved swings when I was little and I’m still partial to the occasional ride at a festival so I was quite delighted to find this swing in Allen Gardens.

I love Petticoat Lane Market. It’s not as trendy as Brick Lane or the Sunday Up Market but it does have it’s charm and so much stuff! The street was first named Petticoat Lane as it sold petticoats and lace made by the French. During Victorian times the name was changed to Middlesex, but it’s still known as Petticoat Lane. The market is like a massive jumble sale but it feels authentic.
I love this postcard of Petticoat Lane from Spitalfields Life – it’s a great site that specializes in the area.
