I like fun happy shoots. I don’t mind the occasional shoot where the model looks sullen, or deep in thought but there’s something wonderful when a model smiles. Smiling is a bit contagious besides it’s hard not to be happy in such fun colourful clothes. This shoot featured Samuel Thorley’s graduate collection. When Samuel was 17 heContinue reading

This is one of my favourite fashion shoots and it’s quite special to me for several reasons. Before my husband died I told him I wanted to shoot in a forest and he found this location for me in Wandsworth Common. The designer featured is Hannah Williams, I’ve known her for a few years as she wasContinue reading

20130209 104942 Behind the Scenes at Kate Nashs 3am video

3am was such a fun video to style. Most of the video was shot at The Renaissance Rooms in Vauxhall, it was the perfect location for a 70’s roller disco! All the clothes were sourced from a variety of vintage shops and at Gemma Cairney’s charity sale Rumble in the Jumble. I found some great pieces,Continue reading

I styled Kate Nash’s video for 3am and it was so much fun to style a 70’s inspired video. In this picture is Kate and her band, from left to right: Linda Buratto, Fern Ford, Kate Nash and Emma Hughes. London’s a great city to be in when styling these kinds of shoots because allContinue reading

I styled the video for for 3am and I’m so excited to see it – it’s very 70’s inspired and some of it was shot at a roller disco! Since then I have been dancing around my flat for weeks with partial clips of Kate Nash’s new single 3am in my head. It’s amazingContinue reading

I love travelling so I was quite excited to visit Zurich for a few days and do a fashion shoot. Of course I never manage to see the city I’m in as I’m usually in a windowless studio but I did arrive during a snow storm and it was magical.

I loved styling this shoot – it was so much fun and it was great to see everything come together .Often I have less than a week to prep a shoot so when you have a few weeks it feels like a luxury but really it gives you the time to properly prepare and callContinue reading
