Karl Lagerfeld’s Jewellery & more Choupette

Even thought I love accessories it's still always fun to go to a press day especially when you're enticed by getting your nails done at the DryBy in central London, they do blow drys too but I love getting my nails done. You're forced to sit still for 20 minutes - it's like a time out, which seems to be well deserved. The press event was showcasing Karl Lagerfeld’s jewellery and ADORE Jewellery’s AW17. This season lots of accessories are small and there's lots of layering, it's a trend that's easy and accessible and that's continuing in to AW17.  I think we all like a bit of statement jewellery but small pieces just make a different kind of statement. The collections feature lots of charms that can have a personal meaning making the jewellery more special. I think jewellery has to mean something to the wearer as no one really wears jewellery that they don't really like, we always attach sentiment to jewellery. There is a super cute Choupette ring, that everyone seems to covet, really anything with little pointy ears is always a favourite. Adorn has lots of great earrings in silver and gold, from sparkly diamonte to understated ear cuffs. Earring are really a major trend for AW17, there lots of hoops and mismatched earrings on the catwalk. With long hair I tend to forget to wear earrings but it always looks nice when the light catches it and it's an easy ways to be on trend this season.
