It's that time of year and if you're a young fashion designer you're already thinking about what to do next and it can be daunting. Fashion Scout is in its 18th season and has supported a whole generation of designers including Peter Pilotto, Felder Felder, David Koma, William Tempest, Eudon Choi, Pam Hogg, Fyodor Golan, Agi & Sam and most recently Phoebe English and Xiao Li,

You can apply for catwalk shows, including Merit and Ones to Watch, presentations, installations, London exhibition and the Paris showroom.The Merit Award New Talent initiative is worth £25,000 over three seasons and is responsible for the launch of leading designer’s careers including that of William Tempest, David Koma, Hermione De Paula, Eudon Choi, Georgia Harding, and recently Phoebe English, and Xiao Li. The Merit Award is open to new womenswear designers who have already graduated and wish to show during London Fashion Week. RCA graduate James Kelly is the most recipient of The Merit Award!New designers can apply for the Ones to Watch, a collaborative showcase. Ones to Watch is an opportunity for four of the most exciting new designers to present at Fashion Scout London with part-sponsorship and is known as the first place to see the future of UK and International design talent. Instrumental in raising the profile of emerging talent globally, Ones to Watch has been created to generate maximum press coverage and is one of the most popular shows during London Fashion Week. I've been styling this show for quite a few seasons and it's always exciting plus it's one of my favourite shows to work on!Applications close 7th May and Fashion Scout will take place 18th - 22nd September.
