Knitwear at Spitalfields Market

It’s a rainy grey day in London – ┬ábut that doesn’t stop me from going out to . I only live around the corner from the market but I never get bored of going there. Today it seems full of tourists and . I don’t know where the British tradition of wearing a silly sweater at Christmas came from but there is something quite charming about it, plus it’s good to be a bit silly and not take everything too seriously. During┬áthe next few weeks there will be lots of at the market, everything from cheap and cheerful sweaters to beautiful hand-knitted scarves. It’s the perfect place for Christmas shopping while having a piece of cake!
