Knitwear at Spitalfields Market

imageIt's a rainy grey day in London -  but that doesn't stop me from going out to Spitalfields market. I only live around the corner from the market but I never get bored of going there. Today it seems full of tourists and Christmas jumpers. I don't know where the British tradition of wearing a silly sweater at Christmas came from but there is something quite charming about it, plus it's good to be a bit silly and not take everything too seriously. During the next few weeks there will be lots of knitwear at the market, everything from cheap and cheerful sweaters to beautiful hand-knitted scarves. It's the perfect place for Christmas shopping while having a piece of cake!imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage imageimageimage
