SUPERSPACE Concept Store in Singapore

imageI met the designers from Mash Up and wanted to see more of their work. They pointed me in the direction of the concept store SUPERSPACE. In Singapore cool shops can actually be found in malls, it's the easiest way to shop and it might be the only way to shop here as it's too hot outside - even at 10pm the malls are busy.SUPERSPACE is a cross between an art gallery and a sweetshop. There is so much to look at and each rail is labelled with the name of the designer, where they're from and a short bio. It's a great way to shop - knowing a bit about the designer does make a difference, it makes the experience more personal.  They opened this year in May 2014. SUPERSPACE is the brainchild of four friends – Bobby Luo of NIGHTVISION and The Butter Factory, Ritz Lim of Ritz Salon and The Butter Factory, and local fashion designers Samuel Wong of evenodd, and Gilda Su of RÊVASSEUR. They carry loads of initiative designers including KTZ, Bas Kosters, Agi & Sam, and Singaporean brands including Mash Up and Yesha plus as part of the experience there is the Ritz hair salon right next door.277 Orchard Road, #02-18 orchardgateway, Singaporeimageimage imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage
