Model Casting at Fashion Scout AW/14

image

I’m styling two shows this season, and ’s  The .  Yesterday we had the at the Freemason’s Hall in the same room that will be transformed into the main catwalk space.  It’s a great opportunity for many designers to see so many models:  several hundred models show up from different agencies throughout the afternoon. I love casting as I’ve gotten to know so many of the models over the years and it’s always great to see them again.  It’s quite impressive when you meet a model who’s 19 years old and has already done 5 seasons worth of shows. There are also quite a few new girls, who are about 16 years old so this is their first show season. London can be the perfect testing ground for new models and of course for new designers – there’s just so much emerging talent in London.
