The House Duvelleroy

imageThere is something so romantic, decadent and still pragmatic about a fan. The House Duvelleroy was founded in Paris in 1827 and in 2009 Eloïse Gilles and Raphaëlle de Panafieu resuscitated the couture fan house. The hand made fans are made from traditional fabrics like silk and feathers and state-of-the-art materials like carbon fiber and they take about 20 to 100 hours to create. They've also done their first collaboration with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.  The fans retail for from €450  to €3000.imageimageimage
