I recently met with fashion designer Yeashin Kim as she will be one of the designers featured in Fashion Scout’s group show Ones to Watch, showing during London Fashion Week in February 2013. She recently launched her own fashion line called Shin in 2011 after graduating from London College of Fashion. She was awarded the WGSN Global Fashion Award in 2011 for Most Creative Student Collection and she was also chosen as one of The Best Fashion Graduates of 2011 by Vogue UK.
Before studing fashion fashion Yeashin studied find arts and developed her love of colour. I’m quite excited about Yeashin’s AW13 collection as she loves textures: velvets, silks and wool. Her work is very girly and fun. Yeashin’s inspired by 60’s London and traditional Koren garments and furniture. Her looks are so easy to wear, and next season she’ll have quite a few separates, plus some wonderful coats for autumn/winter.
