The Third Annual WGSN Global Fashion Awards, London

A night of celebrating the third annual WGSN Global Fashion Awards! It was wonderful to have the event in London this year and The Savoy was the perfect setting. Last year the event was in New York. I've been a judge for two seasons now and it's quite difficult to choose the winner as everyone who has been shortlisted is incredibly talented and deserves to win but it really is that extra something that makes a person or brand stand out just that much more. It was really a special evening and it's so important to celebrate the business of fashion. We forget how important every element is, from shop design to pure-play ecommerce and it's great to have a platform like WGSN's Global Fashion Awards to recognize and celebrate this talent.

One of the most exciting and intimidating parts of the evening was the "red carpet". I don't think any of us were really expecting it - I wasn't. It made me realize what celebrities go through (at least a little bit) and of course part of it was quite fun. It's always good be asked a few fashion questions - it keeps you on your toes and I can chat and chat about fashion.

I had so much fun wearing this David Longshaw dress. I just love his prints and he's such a sweet and fun person.

VV Brown - and watch out for her - it sounds like she's going to have an exciting year! I love VV Brown as I met her a few years ago and styled her for a Nokia video. I love that she's opened her own online shop VV Vintage - there are so many great items on the site!
