Leutton Postle SS13

20121006-212932.jpgI have been featuring garments from Leutton Postle since I first saw Jenny Postle's MA graduate collection a few years ago. I just loved all the textures - the crazyness and the colours. Knitwear really has had a resurgence over the past few yeasr - it's not only taken more seriously it's become more fashionable.I recently met up with Jenny Postle and Sam Leutton at Vauxhall Fashion Scout's showroom in Paris. One of my favourite pieces that they are doing this season is the knitted shirt - you maybe not have seen a knitted shirt before, but there are several in this collection. There are lots of separates, skirts, and tops. They've experimented more with fringing this season - which I expect we'll see the cool girls wearing it during the SS13 festival season. It's much more versatile and it's even easier to wear than the last collection - one doesn't alway expect knitwear designers to excel at a spring/summer collection but Leutton Postle does. Their rail was festive and bright - it's easy to recognize Leutton Postle's signature colours.20121006-212910.jpg20121006-213008.jpg20121006-213058.jpg20121006-213120.jpg20121006-213213.jpgLeutton Postle in a Phoenix Magazine shoot by Christopher Dadey
