African Fashion Week London at Spitalfields
Posted by Rebekah Roy on August 5th, 2012

I really enjoy seeing all kinds of fashion – I feel like I’m a fashion enthusiast. For two days over 50 designers showcased their work at Africa Fashion Week London in Spitalfields. It was a very festive atmosphere and the audience area and the photographer’s pit was packed! I’m always moved when I see a full house. I know how much effort it takes to put on a show and you just want everything to go well for the designers. The event was open to designers of all nationalities who take inspiration from Africa in their collection. This was Africa Fashion Week’s second annual event.

The backstage was right out in the open, so it was also a rare opportunity for fans of fashion to watch what goes on behind the scenes as well!
