Corrie Nielsen - Trunk Show at the Sanderson

20120402-204947.jpg Corrie Nielsen's Autumn/Winter 2012, entitled "Vestiarium Scoticum" was one of my favourite shows. I love all the tartan and polka dot looks and her jackets with her signature shoulders and nipped in at the waist. She used Royal Stewart tartan, MacLellan tartan and Burns Check, monochrome tartan, Duchess satin and silk grosgrain with lace overlay.20120402-163953.jpgThis is Corrie's third collection since winning Fashion Fringe in 2010. Corrie Nielsen graduated with a First Class BA Honours degree in Fashion Design Womenswear from Central Saint Martins and worked in bespoke tailoring and then at Vivienne Westwood for six years.20120402-163852.jpg20120402-205015.jpg20120402-163905.jpg20120402-163916.jpg20120402-163924.jpg20120402-165228.jpgCorrie chatting with NBC.20120402-163933.jpg20120402-163943.jpg20120402-204933.jpg
