The Martini

I like a girly cocktail – the kind where you don’t really notice the alcohol, so it does seem very Mad Men to try a proper martini. This was a gin martini with vermouth and instead of olives it had a cherry, so not a true man’s drink but it’s not quite a girly drink either. It was very strong but didn’t burn your throat.
