Jasper Garvida Spring/Summer 2012 – Studio Visit

I’ve known for quite a few years, and recently I had the chance to visit Jasper in his new East London studio. Jasper has always been passionate about embellishment and this season with the Olympics just ahead of us he’s used lots of silver and gold with black and white. His S/S 2012 collection is called Autour d’un Point, named after a painting by Frantisek Kupka which is also the inspiration for the collection.

I like Jasper’s collection beacause the looks are sexy and strong without being revealing. The clothes are easy to wear – they have built in style, and it’s easy to recognize a Jasper Garvida dress. You can imagine most of his garments on the red carpet as they are perfect for celebrities.
