Alice Palmer Spring/Summer 2012

I've worked with Alice Palmer for several seasons and this season I'm particularly excited about her collection. The colour pallete is black, teal, blue, purple and shocking pink and every piece has gold or bronze in it. It's very glam rock and inspired by the early 70's and David Bowie. The collection is also inspired by op art, mainly the works of Bridget Riley and Valsarely. Op Art or optical art are images that create the illusion of pattern and movement.

I love the structured jackets and how easy the fringe dresses are to wear. It's hard to believe that some of these pieces are knit! This collection is fun, sexy and luxurious.
