Hat Addiction at Ascot
Posted by Rebekah Roy on June 15th, 2011

I’ve always liked a good hat but after spending a week at Royal Ascot and working with Stephen Jones’ hats I’ve developed a new addiction and a better understanding of what makes a great hat. We put a lot of effort into choosing a dress but often you forget to put the same amount of effort into choosing a hat. It’s all about angles and what shapes work best with your face. A hat is quite a unique accessory: we can’t really justify a hat like we can with a pair of shoes or a hand bag by saying that we need them because they are functional – but a hat does have a purpose. It makes you feel special!
