House of Organza – Muse

The House of Organza is curated by and Lyall Hakaraia and is in it’s third season. This collection of five pieces, entitled ‘Muse’ is created by Fred Butler, , Dr. Noki, Patternity and Lyall Hakaraia. I loved this collaboration. Each artist is given a brief – a project manifesto including a poetry recording, and a metre of canvas to paint any shade of blue (inspired by Yves Klein’s Blue Epoch). Each designer then had the freedom to design an accessory or garment in their chosen disciplines.
