I recently went to a private viewing of the Fashion Illustration Gallery in association with the V&A. It was a great exhibition. I loved the way the prints were shown – they were in a box and someone would turn the individual illustraions for you to view. It’s quite interesting how poplular fashion illustration has become. Maybe in an age of technology, where everyone has a digital camera on their mobile we need to see something truly authentic and see the artists skill.
