Diego Dolcini for Swarovski Elements

I had the pleasure of meeting with Diego Dolcini at the Swarovski Elements event in London. Diego studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano and has a master's degree in Fashion Design at Domus Academy. He's done many collaborations:Emilio Pucci, Bulgari, Tom Ford for Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana. Diego has been using Swarovski Crystals for over 15 years and he recently collaborated with Swarovski Elements creating these shoes for the Jawaher exhibition.

Diego' shoes are strong and sexy. There are 45-style in his new collection including the Swarovski-encrusted evening shoes. The collection was inspired by 1940s films “Casablanca” and “Citizen Kane” and as Diego first studied architecture it's alway part of his inspiration: the modern architecture of Seattle’s public library and the Baha’i Centre in South Africa.
