The Brazilian – Blow Dry
Posted by Rachel Wood on October 6th, 2010
Ever spend time straightening your hair only to walk out the door and watch it turn into frizz central? I have been a long time sufferer of ‘afflicted sudden frizz’. I’ve lost count on the number of times I’ve spent styling/straigtening my hair, only to have it turn into an unruly mess because of bad weather. Well, I heard about the hair treatment called the Brazilian Blow Dry and I had to try it out for myself. I wanted the best so I went to see Tim Furssedunn one of the International Creative Directors for Tony & Guy at his salon on Gloucester Road in London. My hair was washed, then the special conditioning treatment was massaged into my hair. Next my hair was blown dry with the product left on my hair and then straightened with a flat iron.
After the process, I wasn’t allowed to wash my hair for 3 days which felt kind of gross by the end but the first time I washed my hair, it was glossy and super smooth. It felt like silk and I didn’t have to use my GHD’s! This treatment didn’t destroy my natural wave or the body in my hair like some intense straightening treatments do but it just eradicated my frizz and it can last up to 4 months – oh the heavenly hair bliss! No wonder Nicole Ritchie is a fan of the Brazlian Blow dry!
