The Grass is always Greener at Prophetik
Posted by Rebekah Roy on September 18th, 2010

I styled Prophetik’s show at Vauxhall Fashion Scout this London Fashion Week. Every show you work on is different but this one is truly unique. Prophetik is all about sustainability, but not just in terms of fashion – it’s a way of life and how they treat their team. Jeff Garner and his team arrived from Tennessee and without a moment to spare we were doing fittings and castings and Jeff was also trying to organize all the production. He’s a perfectionist but trusts his team and knows how to delegate. It’s just true team work where everyone know what their doing and really respects and admires one another.

As you can see we had such fun models – this is backstage just before the show!

Elisalex de Castro Peake of Nina Dolcetti who designed the boots for our show is chatting on the grass catwalk with Jimmy Choo!

We actually had real grass on the catwalk that had a felt backing so heels don’t sink in or get stuck in the grass. After the show the grass is taken back to be replanted.
