A Day in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
Posted by Rebekah Roy on August 19th, 2010
Really this is a day in a plane, in a car and then in a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Sometimes when I’m working I don’t get to see too much of a city but if you just look out the taxi window you can get a wonderful impression! It was so hot and muggy when we landed – it’s the rainy season and it lasts for 6 months. I just love how overwhelming the hot air can be, it just hits you as you step out of your air conditioned car and you know you’re not in London anymore.

This is the view from my hotel, I’m on the 17th floor.

Rebekah, I’m a stylistic dunce, but I love looking at your posts. Thanks for sharing your Divo travels with us who are stuck traveling only by armchair. I look at your Beruit/Amman pictures often and I liked the fashion mags in Hong Kong airport lounge. You lead an interesting life..enjoy it to the fullest.
