Paying to Intern?
Posted by Rebekah Roy on May 2nd, 2010

Most interns don’t realize how valuable work experience is, but one lucky winner is paying over $10,000 USD to spend one week as an intern at Vogue US and have a meeting with Anna Wintour. There were 25 bids on this auction but I’m not sure if they’ll tell us who the winner is.
Anna Wintour and Vogue US donated a week-long experience at the Vogue US to raise money for The RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights. The work experience will be tailored to the individual interests and skill set of the auction winner, and the winner will get two tickets to attend a fashion show during New York’s Fashion Week.
If you’ve missed out on this charity auction there is another coming up soon with Anna Wintour and Vogue US. It’s a meet and greet. I’m surprized how many charity events like this Anna Wintour participates in. It changes my perception of her, somehow it just makes her a little kinder, warmer and very generous with her time.
