Backstage at Andrew Majtenyi at LFW

I loved the hair and make up we that we did for Andrew Majtenyi show. It's important to meet with the whole team and talk about the vision and what hair, makeup and styling can do for the collection - there are so many different direction that one can go. It's just so important to chose the best one.

I'm quite partial to big hair. We worked with Leigh Keates from Michael Van Clarke and they came up with several hair styles that would work for the show. You have to look at each part on it's own merit and then how it comes together. It's all about synergy.

Andrew's collection is mainly grey, black and neutral with some delightful 50's inspired prints. The silk prints are quite quirky with poodles, dachshund and cafe scenes. He also used beautiful crepes and wools with flocked damask. It's very grown up and very easy to wear.

Since the show I've become addicted to new id Cosmetics eye gel but dying to try the i flick (a Double Ended Liquid and Kohl Liner)!
