Festival Season and The Bum Bag
Posted by Rebekah Roy on March 13th, 2010

Yes, the bum bag or fanny pack is back (it made huge headlines in the 1980’s to mid -1990’s). It’s main attraction is that they are hands-free! Many of us fear the bum bag. It used to be only the geeky tourist or hikers who would wear them but now they’ve really become a festival staple. They’re rarely worn on the bum – wear it on the front to look cool and avoid any pick-pockets. You can also fit quite a lot of stuff – a mobile, some money, antibacterial hand gel, sunscreen and some tissues.
This cowgirl bum bag is from Angel Jackson and you just know it’s going to be a huge hit on the festival circuit. It’s easy to imagine wearing it with your favourite demin shorts – add a pair of hunter wellies with long socks, a cool T, a pair of Ray Bans and you’re good to go.
