Suresh Lip Gloss

I adore boutique’esque style cosmetic brands. They’re like finding little hidden treasures. I recently have had the pleasure of meeting NY based makeup artist Suresh Senevirante. After years of working in the cosmetics industry, he created a lovely little line of some of the prettiest lip glosses I’ve seen. We met for coffee in Manhattans Union Square area and spent the afternoon swapping backstage makeup artist stories whist he talked me through his brand.
I was really impressed with the Suresh glosses as they are paraben- free, have spf 8, are non-comedogenic and hypo allergenic. They are tasteless and fragrance free-so no icky, sweet synthetic flavour that puts you off your gloss! They contain vitamin E and are non greasy or sticky but they stay on. Best of all is the colour range. The glosses colour on the lips look like they do in the tube… which isn’t always the case with a lot of sheer glosses. The collection has an essence of crushed gemstones or pearls with a hint of sparkle. This is a compact line of wearable colours that doesn’t try to be trendy, they’re just beautiful.
Suresh told me that all the glosses are all named after important women in his life. My favourite colour was Teresa, a shimmery, fleshy nude tone.
