Posted by Rebekah Roy on December 17th, 2009

Pantone has announced the colour of the year for 2010 is turquoise. The blue-green hue is a colour of ‘faith and truth, inspired by water and sky’ explains Pantone’s VP Strategic Business Development Helmurt Eifert. .
Most people look good in turquoise and it’s an easy colour to imagine wearing in the summer, just hanging out in Barcelona or somewhere sunny!
PANTONE 15-5519 Turquoise – the serene qualities of blue and the invigorating aspects of green, Turquoise inspires thoughts of soothing, tropical waters and a comforting escape from the everyday troubles of the world, while at the same time restoring our sense of wellbeing. – Pantone
We have a lot of expectations from a colour!

Alice Palmer and David Koma both had shades of turquois in their S/S 10 collections!
