Lady Pearls – Vintage Dresses
Posted by Rebekah Roy on December 7th, 2009
I’m not really a sparkly girl but I’m not quite over sequins yet. You can’t beat a little bit of sparkle over the holiday season!
There are lots of great sparkly dresses on the high street but if you don’t want to wear something that everyone else has don’t forget to check out your favourite vintage shops on or off line. Whenever I’m dressing up for an gala event or party I always seem to wear a vintage dress!
I love this 80’s checker board dress. It’s covered completely in clear sequins that catch the light at every angle. There is even a net under skirt which gives it just enough shape.
I like to mix vintage with something trendy. It might be a very cool pair of shoes with a handbag. People either love or hate vintage but right now there are so many vintage shops that offer some great pieces. They’ve already done the hard work, found the cool pieces and made sure that they’re in good condition. It’s vintage made easy!
Check out Lady Pearls.
