Dancing with the Stars and MAC cosmetics

MAC cosmetics are known for their fantastic makeup artist pro-classes and the latest one they held in NYC didn’t disappoint. The USA’s number 1 TV program - Dancing with the Stars Head Makeup Artist Melanie Mills’ delighted an audience full of makeup artists at the Lighthouse Theatre in NYC.
She gave brief introductions and descriptions on how to create 5 different ballroom inspired makeup looks. After each detailed description - 2 professional dancers danced for the audience in full costume, hair and makeup!
This display really gave the audience the chance to see the makeup come alive and into play. Melanie also did an on-stage demo on a model while the audience got the chance to pick her brain with their makeup questions and dish out fab advice.
What a great job! Imagine all that creativity and glitter to play with. Afterwards there was a cocktail reception where we had the chance to see the dancers up close in all their glory.
