Boots Nº7 Creative Director and Make-Up Artist Lisa Eldridge

Boots Nº7 Creative Director and Make-Up Artist Lisa Eldridge was hosting the press day at the fashionable St Martin's Lane Hotel. For Spring 2010 it’s all about minerals and gemstone inspired colours and natural radiance. In the meantime during the winter months it's important to pay attention to skincare! Personally I’m obsessed with skincare and a bit negligent on the makeup side of things - but after the press day I’m having a re-think about how can we use makeup to get the most out of an outfit.

Makeup is a simple way to change an outfit - think of it like an accessory, like changing your shoes from day to evening - flats to heels. You might spend quite a bit of money on a dress and it’s important to get the most wear out of your wardrobe. It’s important to think of the whole look. You already know how to dress a look up or down - but to get more out of your outfit think lipstick - something as simple as a more daring lip colour can completely transform your look!

Lisa Eldridge’s top 3 favourite picks:

No7 Nude Lip Pencil
No7 Stay Perfect Shadow Palette in Cappuccino
No7 Extravagant Lashes Mascara (I’m dying to try this, I have a great weakness for mascara!)
