Moncler – The Original Parka!

As a Canadian I feel I know and understand the value of a good parka. Most of them are ugly. I’m already short and feel a bit rolly-polly in a big down coat. Fortunately there are brands like Moncler who take the parka to new levels.Giambattista Valli’s Gamme Rouge collection for Moncler (the luxury Italian sportswear brand) takes the parka to places that dreams are made of! It feels like the brand went from basic down to a luxury fashion brand in an instant, which isn’t really true –  Moncler started in the 1950s and created the first down-filled coat. They also dressed the Italian Olympic ski team for the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, France.
