What inspired your collection?
LP – My collection was inspired by 2 things mostly, my rich Texan heritage, and my muse, 80’s supermodel and aesthete extraordinaire, Jan Strimple. I infused her glamourous and powerful personal style with just the right amount of Texas reference to create what i describe as a Softer male image
Which look represents your collection the most?
LP – Definitely the opening look, I loved the proportions of the jacket and trousers and the sophistication of colors and textures.
What would you like to do next?
LP – I am currently interviewing with several different labels, I won’t say who exactly but think BIG and think ITALIAN.
Will stay in London?
LP – I would LOVE to stay in London as it is such an exciting city and so full of inspiration. However at this moment in time it may be necessary for me to leave temporarily as I have only been approached by one british company and their offer was not exactly what i am currently looking for
What designers inspire you?
LP – Alway been a HUGE fan of Gaultier, Yves Saint Laurent, and Karl Lagerfeld.
Do you own any cowboy boots?
LP – 4 tall pair and 2 ankle mock cowboy boots for when i want to wear tapered trousers and not tuck them in
What do you miss most about Texas?
LP – The amazing sunshine and friendliness of the natives, even if they are having a bad day they will go out of their way to help and be kind to you.
