Many designers are making their way back to London for Fashion Week. Is it the recession, the great new venue at Somerset House, or the celebration of London Fashion Week’s 25tht Anniversary? So far Burberry, Matthew Williamson, Pringle, Amanda Wakeley and Clements Ribeiro are all retuning.
Clements Ribeiro, the husband and wife team Inacio Ribeiro and Suzanne Clements, will show in the Portico Rooms at London Fashion Week as part of the first ever LFW presentation schedule.
Jonathan Saunders is retuning to London – he’s been showing in New York but he has a studio in London.
It’s Pringle 195th anniversary and they will show at LFW too!
…and after seven years showing in New York Matthew Williamson will show at London Fashion Week.
After buying back her label, Amanda Wakeley is now showing at LFW!
How cool is this – People’s Revolution is going to promote London Fashion Week and British designers in the US. People’s Revolution is pretty high profile, especially in the US. The founder and CEO, Kelly Cutrone, has some star power of her own: after all, she was the PR that Whitney and Lauren were working for on The Hills!
