Gingham Dresses by BLURB & the Picnic Basket

I love the gingham picnic basket but I love a gingham dress more!

I love summer fun and picnics – this is why I can’t resist anything in gingham. I don’t necessarily think of it as English but from the mid 18th century it was produced in the mills of Manchester!

These pieces are from BLURB by Scottish designer Zoe Watt. I just love all the unconventional styles in gingham as I’m not a prissy fussy girl. Zoe is based in London and she studied Fashion at the University of Middlesex before doing a Masters degree at Central St. Martins, London. After her studies she worked with Boudicca and Peter Jensen. Can’t wait to see what she does next!
