Qasimi's Menswear show in Paris - Men's Grooming

It's great to be feeling rested and recharged after a fabulous week in Greece... and I have to say if you're looking for a little Mediterranean paradise for a shoot-the island of Evia had some gorgeous quiet little beaches with water so clear it was like swimming in a pool!

But rest time is over and it was back to the grind. On the Eurostar to Paris I went with a few of my top assistants to work on Qasimi's first show presentation for Men's Fashion week. The theme was focus on God and Enlightenment. It was a great installation, with video footage from their fashion shoot in Ibiza in the background.

Qasimi's team said they had over 150 models show up for their 10 hour casting session in Paris. The models they choose in the end were a fab international mix of men from Germany, Portugal, NY, Belgium, Brazil & London. I was sponsored by the fabulous Makeup Forever. A leading brand in France but a little more exclusive to find in the UK but you can purchase Makeup Forever at  Guru Makeup Emporium. I would recommend checking them out; they have some wonderful products.

I fell in love with their HD foundations. It was like applying a second skin face fabric. I also used their full coverage foundations in the darker tones to warm up the boys cheeks like a cream bronzer. A touch of black mascara was added to their lashes and lips had a touch of clear gloss. The models looked polished and handsome. Mirrors were a big embellishment on a lot of the clothes. On two of the models we attached the mirrors to their chests with eyelash glue which gave a spectacular reflective effect.

Next up for me and Qasimi, I'll be designing the makeup looks for this up coming September London Fashion week show... watch this space!!
