Fashion.Music.Style is working on it’s 4th issue now. We go quarterly and the magazine has gone national through Borders for this issue! This issue is almost 50% bigger and the A5 size works very well as it’s perfect for housing the free 16 track cd. It’s rapidly becoming one of those magazines you want to buy, especially when you live outside the UK, so you can really see what is really happening on the music scene here.
Little Boots, Victoria Hesketh was great to work with. She’s got a strong style and she’s super cute with tiny size 3 feet! The hat she’s wearing is super cool Justin Smith Esquire and the dress is by Couture Clubbing.
Little Boots looks cute as a brunette but she looks great as a blond and now it’s hard to imagine her any other way. Styling makes a difference!

Beth Ditto for Evans shot by Rankin!

Sequines is everywhere this summer and this one is only £65 and the leggings are £18. I love this trend as it never really seems to go away.

Love the domino print – it’s only £45!

London is known for it’s great high street and Evans has always offered plus size fashion on trend – but overall there aren’t many affordable on trend plus size ranges. Over the past few season retailers are getting wise to the plus size market: New Look has Inspire, Forever 21 has plus-size line, Faith 21 and Target has Pure Energy.
Beth Ditto for Evans launches on July 9th!

What’s great about London is that you always see the unexpected. I was running errands today, doing some prep for my shoot on Tuesday and I saw the coolest car. If you want bling a gold Bugatti Veyron is the way to go!

Tamara de Lempicka’s self-portrait in the green Bugatti made an already famous car iconic.

This is definitely a fashionista’s car. During the 1920’s Ettore Bugatti and Émile Hermès met when Ettore ordered a bespoke suitcase for his first Bugatti Royale. Designers are always looking for collaborations but it’s rare to find true synergy between brands. Bugatti had a passion for horses and Hermès, the saddle maker, had a passion for cars.
At the Geneva motor show in 2008 Bugatti partnered with Hermès, creating the "Fbg Par Hermès" trim. The interior is trimmed in Hermès leather and it comes with a specially designed Hermès suitcase to fit in the trunk. There are four colour schemes that draw inspiration from the 80 year relationship between the two companies. The colour options are ‘Indigo Blue and Vermilion,’ ‘Indigo Blue and Lime Green,’ ‘Black and Garance Red,’ and ‘Prussian Blue and Blue Jean.’ Even the interior door handles are the Hermès-luggage style handles and there is no visible stitching as they use the same sewing technique on the leather as on Hermès’ famous saddles.

I love the branding!

The case comes with the car!

The Luxury Marketing Council Europe held the Luxuria Awards last week at a ceremony at The Orangery Gallery in Holland Park. The Wall Street Journal was the key sponsor and the awards were created to honour excellence in luxury design, manufacture, retail and communications.

Courtney Blackman accepted an award on behalf of our favourite hatter Louis Mariette. (Louis is away in the Middle East!) Netaporter, Condé Nast Traveller, and Moet & Chandon were also winners.

It was quite a lovely event as it was a perfect evening summer’s evening with an endless amount of delectable canapes, champagne and even rum punch!

Osman Yousefzada with FBC co-founder Courtney Blackman.

It was a small yet lovely event with Colin McDowell, Erin Mullaney (Browns Buying Director, Womenswear & Focus), Zoe Kuipers (Communications Director of Browns), freelance fashion journalist Avril Groom,
Mariella Tandy (Retail Editor of Tatler), Marcio Quintela (Browns Stylist) and of course some very loyal shoppers!
Everything in size 8 was sold out before the event even started. Osman had one of his assistants run back to the studio just to pick up a few more pieces!

I love these icy coloured dresses, everything is so pale but there is a coziness about them. On the right, I call it the skater dress – it just seems perfect to go ice skating in! These looks have a simple understated elegance – they are luxurious pieces without screaming about one’s wealth.

The famous Yousefezada trapeze dress!
