After much anticipation, I have finally found out that I am showing my collection on Thursday 21st May in the afternoon and evening performances. Tickets for the Sew What? Graduate Fashion Show are available from ‘Nottingham Playhouse’ on 0115 9419 419.
I have had a great week. Last weekend I went back to London to assist Rebekah Roy at the Britain’s Next Top Model fashion show at Westfield shopping centre. The day consisted of 3 fashion shows that took place throughout the day and a competition fashion show too. The day was really successful and I am glad I got to escape my collection for a day or two.
This week I have been busy making all my final garments! And when I am not in the studio sewing, which is rare, I am spending my time shredding jersey.
I also have a portfolio deadline on Tuesday 5th - so am spending nights on photoshop perfecting boards for 2 competition projects that we entered at the beginning of the academic year.
My next task is to source 6 pairs of shoes for my models to wear in the fashion show…
