Fabric Shops & Isabella Lundberg

Posted by Rebekah Roy on October 20th, 2008

Trying to match fabrics can be quite a challenge. I spent my whole day looking for the right shade of purple silk chiffon. It’s amazing how long and difficult it can be to find what you’re looking for, even though London has so many fabric shops…

On my travels I ran into the talented Isabella Lundberg. She’s just finishing up her MA and I’m looking forward to seeing her new collection! New talent can be so inspiring!!

Here are some examples of her work.

The poncho dress was inspired by the butterfly’s cocoon.
It was hand-crocheted by Isabella!

I’d lvoe to know which fabric shop you’re in, I don’t think I’ve been to that one! It would be amazing if you could compile a list of the fabric shops you go to – some are quite hard to find. Cx
