We all talk about supporting British designers, let’s face it VB can wear any designer that she chooses. So how cool is that when she knows the world is watching she promotes British designers. Yup, very cool!

Victoria Beckham wore a pair of Antonio Berardi PVC boots for the launch of her fragrance at Macy’s. I love that VB often wears British designers at her own launches. You have to be pretty secure, confident and believe in the other designers that you’re promoting.
She wore Ana Šekularac at the launch of DvB at Harrods!

Yes, I know that already sounds ironic. Customer service is something that I don’t expect any more. I’m not saying that customer service was great in Canada – in one department store you could never find a sales person – but that store went under…There are some shops in London that are quite good, my local grocery shop is one of them. Also there are lots of boutique shops that are amazing. They are noteworthy because of the service. I think great customer service just makes good business sense.

I don’t usually gripe but I just don’t understand why the escalator is out of service for several months at my tube station. The up escalator is working but my assistant and I are often carrying heavy cases & all sorts of things down the stairs. I also think about when I’m old, will I be able to walk down all those stairs? I just keep thinking would it take 6 months to fix an escalator in Toronto?

I still don’t understand why so many women are wearing ugly and ill-fitting bras. Most major department stores do bra fittings and you don’t have to pay a lot of money to find something that fits.

Bras at Marks and Spencer range from £8.00- £25-00
I find women usually say "this is just an old bra I don’t know why I’m wearing it". Didn’t someone once say wear nice knickers in case you’re ever in an accident and have to go to the hospital? Wasn’t good underwear just etiquette?
I’m not sure if it’s laziness or just pure neglect. Wouldn’t you want your breasts to be supported by nice pretty fabric? I think we get lazy about our bodies. We complain that our breast are too big or too small or have changed shape… We take our health, our breasts for granted until something happens.
Bras don’t last forever: the elasticity starts to go and then it’s time to get a new bra. Don’t forget to tighten the straps – most women seem to forget that the straps are adjustable for a reason. Hand washing your bras might be a bit of a pain but they will last longer, if you do throw them in the washing machine at least put them in a mesh lingerie bag. The right bra can completely change how a garment hangs on your body. A bra can lift your breasts up giving you a waist and longer torso. A padded bra can give you great shape in a sweater. It all depends on what you need – you’ll have different bras that are worn with different looks and your needs will be different depending on your bra size.

Rigby and Peller dress the Queen so you can be certain they know what they’re doing. The black Empreinte Bettina Underwired Moulded T-Shirt Bra is £64.95. It’s essential to have a t-shirt bra as it won’t make lines under fine jersey. Depending on your breast size and shape the Huit Anouk Padded Plunge Bra with removable pads will work with a low cut dress or V-neck and it’s £43.95. The style of bras that you purchase will be determined by your breast size and shape and your own personal style.
How much would you spend on a bra?

Daisy de Villeneuve is the type of artist that once you start to recognize her work you’ll see it everywhere.

Her illustrations have a unique child like quality to them: I just love them!!! She’s designed Topshop’s quirky shoeboxes, customized Moet & Chandon bottles for Colette’s 10th anniversary, designed for Nike, the V&A Museum, has published 2 books and has done hundreds of other things. Every month you’ll see her work in one of the major fashion magazines.

So it’s not surprising that the Gap featured her in their Autumn Winter campaign and she will also be in the Holiday 2008 campaign for Christmas!
I asked Daisy de Villeneuve, a true fashion industry insider for a quote to use during my Viktor & Rolf fashion talk at the Barbican.
In your opinion, what’s the best way for someone to create their own distinct personal style?
The best way for someone to create their own distinct personal style is to be unique. Be original in your clothing choices, do not follow trends as you can end up looking like everyone else. I always like to take inspiration from other decades & mix my clothing to include vintage, designer & high street.

I loved so many of the clothes from this collection. Harriet’s Muse isn’t about trends – each collection they continue to develop their style and take it to the next level! Here are some of the looks from the show.
Craig Spellar & Cheryl Partington named this jacket the "Rebekah Jacket"! It’s the first time I’ve had something named after me how cool is that!!
Erika is also one of my favourite models – she’s just so much fun!!

This leather corset is so beautiful – I just know it’s going to be seen in a really cool editorial – what stylist could resist such a show piece!

So sexy!
