Jacob Kimmie Pre-Collection SS09
Posted by Rebekah Roy on August 6th, 2008

Jacob Kimmie has done his first pre-collection. In London I’ve come to expect creativity and larger than life images on the catwalk. London doesn’t appear to be about wearability. So Jacob Kimmie, at the request of his clients for more wearable clothing is working on a commercial collection.

Like many designers Kimmie is experiencing a trend towards the bespoke service and he’s designing more hand crafted pieces and tailored garments for private clients.

The collection is romantic feminine tailoring. The base colours of chocolate, mink and steel are set against tangerine, yellow and turquoise.
