Bucharest Romania

I love this building, it looks like it should be a scene in an old movie and makes me want to do a story.

Nice room but prickly carpet for yoga. I always feel like I’m traveling with so much stuff that I feel a bit decedent bringing my yoga matt.

The venue, which looks so cool, I wasn’t expecting a Colosseum!

Your hotel looks like Toronto city hall! I love hotel living and am envious of all your cool rooms! Sitting by the pool, having someone else make my bed … there is also something freeing and energizing about the anonymity of it all, the rooms all looking the same, the elevators matching the hallways, the hallways matching the rooms…

I stayed for a few days this spring at the Sheraton Centre (with a picture postcard view of Toronto city hall, BTW), and I didn’t want to leave the outdoor rooftop pool, the waterfall and garden. Everything looked like it belonged on an old episode of Magnum, PI or Charlie’s Angels. It was cool.
